Mill House Bed & Breakfast - Kirk Yetholm

The breakfast was really delightful! Our spacious suite had a lovely sitting room and cozy beds. Just wish we could check in earlier than 4pm. 🤔

Extremely comfy bed in the twin room, plus a flat screen TV, a dining area and a sitting area.

Generous sized room, that also was huge with a very comfy bed. Location: the hotel was adjacent to the nearest train station at Berwick on Tweed, pub and walking trail and Kirk Yetholm. It also was in a beautiful part of the world.

Loved the spacious room, but check-in at 4pm was a hassle.

The breakfast was bonkers-think hearty plates of deliciousness that fuel your adventures! Plus, the comfy and well-equipped Beautiful Twin Room was a cozy hideaway after exploring nearby favorites, including The Enchanted Vine for dinner.

Just a cheeky note, our room had skylights instead of regular windows, so the fab views were a tad limited.

The fact that i needed to check in at 4pm was unacceptable, especially after an exhausting walk. My room had these ridiculous skylights instead of an actual view! I expected at least a complimentary gift as compensation for the lack of proper service. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't. Very disappointing.

Claire, the owner, was a gem, helping us with dinner reservations.

Breakfast in our room was more sad bacon roll than gourmet experience-where's the scone when you need one? And paper cups for tea? Surely we deserve better!

Mill House Bed & Breakfast is a charming retreat with tastefully decorated large rooms. Clare's homemade flapjack is a good touch that makes this B&B feel special.

Huge rooms, amazing breakfast, and a cozy atmosphere. Clare is super helpful, even arranging dinner for us after our walks along St Cuthbert's Way and at the world-class biking course nearby.

The only downside was the check-in time at 4pm.

The Mill House Bed & Breakfast provided an really good experience, from the warm welcome upon arrival to the beautifully decorated suite. The Mill Suite, with its spacious layout and good light from the Velux windows, was a highlight. Breakfast was excellent, with options like fresh orange juice and home. The hosts offered valuable insights into local attractions.

Just an optimal selection for a weekend jaunt in Kirk holm with excellent value for money. Spacious rooms were quite cozy and the breakfast provided was genuinely satisfying. Arrive early to enjoy the beautiful village green.

I had a really comfy stay here, the staff were super nice and easy to chat with. the location is top-notch - close to the nearest train station, surrounded by beautiful scenery, and with massive mountains nearby. 🌄
